Banofee- Homey Way !!


Ingredients:

  1. Banana-3(cut into round)
  2. jaggery (grated)- 50g
  3. marie biscuit-1pkt
  4. cream(home made) -5tbs or 1/2carton of amul cream
  5. milk-1/2cup
  6. butter-100gm
  7. grated coconut-2tbs

Method to make the base
  • take a mixer and mix in the pack of marie biscuits with 50gms of butter and make the base on a plate or a mould and freeze it for 3hrs 
caramel sauce:
Heat the  50gm of remaining butter in a nonstick pan and add the grated  jaggery and stir for about 3mins ,add the milk while you are still stirring it ;keep the heat on for 3mins more and add the cream and wait till it bubbles up!!your caramel sauce is done !

Setting:
Take the plate which kept for refrigeration and pour in the caramel sauce and top it with the sliced banana, and grated coconut, voila !! Banofee is ready within another  30mins of refrigeration or until it's set!

P.S :you can opt for chocolate chips as well while making the base and add them as your topping while you set !!
